Noi Bai International Airport is more than the arrival point for Ha Noi. It is one of Vietnam's most important passenger and cargo gateways, serving the capital, the Red River Delta, northern industrial provinces and international supply chains. The airport operates separate passenger terminals: Terminal 1 for domestic flights and Terminal 2 for international flights. Terminal 2 was expanded and officially inaugurated in December 2025, raising its designed capacity from 10 million to 15 million international passengers per year and increasing gates, passenger boarding bridges and digital processing capacity. In the first half of 2026, Noi Bai reported approximately 18.2 million passengers, more than 111,300 flights and over 548,000 tonnes of cargo and parcels, while 71 airlines connected the airport with more than 90 domestic and international destinations. A useful airport dashboard should therefore combine passenger navigation with aviation, cargo, investment, surface-access and capacity intelligence rather than functioning only as a terminal guide.
