Municipality

Hai Phong

Current Hải Phòng was formed in 2025 from the former Hải Phòng and Hải Dương and remains a centrally governed municipality. VietnamWaving treats the enlarged city as one sea-to-delta discovery system: Cát Bà–Lan Hạ and the historic port coast in the east; Bạch Đằng's military river landscape; and inland Côn Sơn–Kiếp Bạc, Kinh Môn limestone country, Chu Đậu ceramics, Thanh Hà lychee country and a deep scholarly tradition. Major port and industrial assets remain economically central but are kept distinct from leisure-oriented discovery places.
