Province

Tay Ninh

Current Tây Ninh was formed in 2025 by merging the former Tây Ninh and Long An provinces. The current official tourism baseline is 8,536.44 km², 3,254,170 people and 96 commune-level units: 82 communes and 14 wards. VietnamWaving treats the enlarged province as one connected discovery geography without erasing the identities of its two former territories. In the northeast, Núi Bà Đen, the Cao Đài Holy See, Dầu Tiếng, Lò Gò–Xa Mát and the revolutionary forests create a sacred-mountain and Cambodia-frontier identity. Trảng Bàng, Gò Dầu and Mộc Bài form the food, trade and metropolitan gateway. South and west, the province opens into the Vàm Cỏ rivers, Cần Giuộc and Cần Đước heritage, then the melaleuca, lotus, archaeology, rice fields and seasonal water of Đồng Tháp Mười.

Potential advantages
  • Immediate proximity to Hồ Chí Minh City supports industry, logistics, labour and consumer access
  • Mộc Bài, Xa Mát and Bình Hiệp create multiple Cambodia-facing gateways
  • Núi Bà Đen and the Cao Đài Holy See form a powerful spiritual-tourism identity
  • Trảng Bàng, Đức Hòa, Bến Lức and Cần Giuộc support a broad manufacturing belt
  • Rice, fruit, food processing and specialty products diversify agriculture
  • Tân Lập, Láng Sen, Lò Gò–Xa Mát and the Vàm Cỏ system diversify ecological tourism
Due diligence
  • Integrate the former Tây Ninh and Long An identities without flattening either
  • Do not multiply Núi Bà Đen summit, cable car, clouds and pilgrimage into duplicate place entities
  • Đồng Tháp Mười is seasonal; do not promise permanent lotus, birds or flood conditions
  • Láng Sen and Lò Gò–Xa Mát require conservation-first tourism
  • Represent expressways by actual commissioning status rather than future plans
  • Industrial expansion creates land, water, traffic and environmental pressures
  • Border content must respect current immigration, customs and security rules
